Privacy policy
This policy explains what data Zarobi processes when you use the site and why. We keep it minimal: no registration, no applications, no advertising.
1. Who we are
Zarobi (zarobi.pl) is a job aggregator website that shows vacancies on a map. The data controller is the site operator, a private individual, who can be contacted at [email protected].
2. What data we process
We do not require registration and we do not collect job applications. Applying happens on the employer’s official website.
Technical data: when you open the site, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address, browser type and request time to deliver the page and protect it from abuse.
Settings on your device: your chosen language and theme are stored in your browser (local storage) and never leave your device.
Messages: if you write to [email protected], we process your email address and message in order to reply.
3. Third-party services
Cloudflare: hosting, DNS and security of the site.
Mapbox: the map. When the map loads, Mapbox receives your IP address and technical browser data and may collect anonymous usage statistics. Mapbox policy: mapbox.com/legal/privacy.
Supabase: the vacancy database. It contains only public vacancy data, not data about visitors.
When you click “Apply”, you go to the employer’s website, which has its own privacy policy.
4. Legal basis and purpose
We process data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): operating, securing and improving the site and replying to messages.
5. Retention
Technical logs are kept according to the infrastructure providers’ rules. Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle the matter.
6. Transfers outside the EEA
Providers may process data in the USA. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict processing, object and request portability. You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority (UODO, uodo.gov.pl). To use your rights, write to [email protected].
8. Analytics and cookies
At the moment we use no analytics or advertising cookies. In the future we may add privacy-friendly statistics; we would then update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent. See the cookie policy for details.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the last change is shown at the top of the page.
